5 Steps for Your EPICS Journey- Do you need a career wellness check up?

Whether you’re exploring jobs, preparing for a career change or making some life style changes, the EPICS assessment can provide meaningful guidance. EPICS offers practical insights and activities intended to steer you toward professional success and personal fulfillment.

Step 1- Take the test. It’s easy, on-line, takes about 15 minutes and your results are instant. It will provide you with your personal code for both your personality and environment. Read up on each of your three dominant themes to see what your personality traits and attitudes are. There are resource links so you can delve further on each theme.

Step 2 – Do activities. This is important. Right after taking the test, fill out the EPICS reflection sheet. Don’t think too much about, just write down your first thoughts and then give it a few days for the results to percolate a bit. Don’t be surprised if an image just pops up in the following days after taking the card sort. This is because it might be reminding your dormant knowledge and unconscious of things you have put aside for other circumstances in your life.

Step 3- Discover your style. Let’s think about branding and how you and others see you. Using your code, make a collage (or if you’re a writer a journal) find images of people and places that you are attracted to. This is what you are going to use in order to create your look and the surroundings that you work and live in.

Step 4 – Take action. Revamp your resume, learn a new skill, get a certificate or look at the want ads and see what’s out there. Nothing changes if Nothing Changes. Ask yourself what is missing in your life. Is it the way you perceive yourself? Are you not receiving the recognition you feel you deserve at your work? Are you being challenged or are you bored? These questions can be directed to both your professional and personal life. Changing your story will change your life.

Step 5 – Be Successful. Success comes in all shapes and sizes and there isn’t a success badge that fits all. Find out what is important to you and make those changes your focus. When you feel satisfied, everything is better- your attitude, those around you, your health and wellbeing.
